About Us

About us

Moving Pictures Tattoo Studio has been helping people express themselves through custom tattoos and body piercings for more than 30 years. Our artists work by appointment and give their full focus to every tattoo, regardless of size and style. Every tattoo created by our artists is personal and customized. We never copy another artist's tattoo, though we are always happy to be inspired by your ideas and desires. We offer a clean, comfortable environment so that you have a memorable experience, every time.

Sean Dulaney

Sean Dulaney has been tattooing at Moving Pictures Studio since January of 1992. Comfortable in a variety of styles, he enjoys doing a lot of tribal style designs, especially large Polynesian inspired pieces. Having studied tattoo machine design, and maintenance, he finds himself in charge of keeping the machines running smoothly in the shop. Says Sean, “I’m the luckiest guy in the world. Our lovely piercer, Jane, is my wife of over 30 years. We have 3 wonderful boys. I get to work with my family. What more could you ask for?”

Laura Jackson

Laura Jackson started tattooing in 1989 and has worked full time at Moving Pictures Studio ever since. A fan of custom freehand, she tend to prefer a fine line approach rather than color bomb but is always happy to work with the customer’s requests. One of her favorite inspirations is the human body, and she tends to be the go-to girl at the shop when it comes to portraits and pinups. If you have a unique pose or style for your pinup, male or female, she will draw it to your satisfaction and while she prefers to work with good, clear photos for portraits has drawn from sources as challenging as miniatures and pixelated newspaper photos.

Jane Dulaney

While she started out with selling the jewelry at the shop, it wasn’t long before Janelle Dulaney took over the piercing full time, although she still takes pride in providing one of the most well stocked body jewelry displays in Northern Ohio. Offering customized jewelry as well as a painstaking attention to balance and comfortable fit in her piercing work, Jane takes the time to make sure that everything from nostril to nipples to dermal implants looks its best in her customers. It’s been a long standing policy at Moving Pictures to help customers that might be unhappy with piercings they’ve had done at other places, so don’t hesitate to stop by if you’re having trouble with swollen, ill-fitting or irritated redness around a piercing so she can set you on the right track with your jewelry.

Nathan Dulaney

Nathan Dulaney is the youngest and newest addition to the studio staff. A former US army engineer, when not practicing on artwork for the shop he acts as the front man, answering the phones and helping with jewelry sales. He enjoys doing body piercings and is always eager to cover for Jane when she’s out of the shop. His main interest in tattoos are colorful biomechanical designs and pinup ladies. Currently he’s studying anatomy and preparing to attend art school while doing watercolor and acrylic paintings in his spare time. Nathan’s goal is to make sure each client has a relatively painless, smooth and professional procedure every time.
